About the Role
Primerli has built a library of some of the highest-rated e-learning content out there. Learner feedback is resoundingly positive, and our primers consistently rank at the top of any platform they’re launched on. Basically, we have been one of the best-kept secrets in the digital learning space. Now, however, is the time to change that. And this is where you come in.
As we scale, we’re looking for a GTM leader to help us write the next chapter of growth for Primerli. Historically, Primerli has grown 200-300% a year, and we’d like to maintain this trajectory by unlocking new markets and use cases. Your responsibilities will span a mix of strategy and tactics, including:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy, including prioritizing target accounts and tailoring approaches for each.
- Identify, secure, and build relationships with senior executives (C-suite, BU heads, SVPs) at Fortune 100 companies
- Use networks, partnerships, and creative outreach to open executive-level opportunities and grow Primerli’s presence.
- Represent Primerli externally and drive visibility through conferences, panels, webinars, and industry councils.
Primerli is an early-stage, high-growth startup, making this role very entrepreneurial and different from your typical corporate job in a few ways:
- Do-it-all mindset: We constantly move between strategy and execution modes and often roll up our sleeves to solve whatever problems come our way.
- Dynamic scope: Being an early-stage startup means the responsibilities of a role will change on a daily basis: in 6 months, you’ll be writing your new job description!
- Equity compensation: As an early team member, a significant portion of your compensation will be equity, so this role is a good fit for people interested in this type of risk-reward profile
While the company is based in California, you will be working remotely with a global team and reporting directly to the CEO.

Experience & Skills
- Consulting experience: A minimum of 3 years of management consulting experience from one of the top consulting firms
- Startup experience: At least one year of experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- GTM experience: Proven track record within a GTM function such as business development, partnerships, or marketing
- Relationship skills: Expertise in identifying, nurturing, and maintaining long-term relationships with enterprise clients, industry leaders, or other senior stakeholders.
